If you have been given a 4G Router, it will provide you with up to 30Meg broadband and 8GB per month of data.
At this time the government have not confirmed a date for when this expires, but it is expected that it will continue to work up until the Covid-19 restrictions are removed at some point in 2021.
If you have received your router with a laptop then it will already have been connected to it and tested.
If you have not received a laptop then you will need to manually connect to your own equipment using the instructions below.
It is important that you power on your router before you log into you equipment/laptop. If you forget, don't worry you can connect it afterwards but you won't have access to the internet until you do. You may also find that updates and changes to your login (for school laptops) won't happen until you log out and log back in with the router connected.

Connecting The Router to your Laptop
If you have not got a school laptop, or for some reason the router has become disconnected and won't connect, then follow these instructions toe tier reconnect to your school laptop or to your own device.

Charging Your Router
You can charge your router using the USB sockets in your laptop, a USB charger (such as a phone charger) or a USB Socket.
