In the first instance try this website.

Click on the Helpdesk and you will find lots of articles with step-by-step instructions in how to fix problems, use software and a section just for Home Use Laptops.


If you still need help with your loan laptop, speak to your form tutor.

If you are working from home, send your form tutor an email. This is very important because your form tutor will need to know if you cannot do your work.


You can then raise a technical support ticket by sending an email to support@hvh.staffs.sch.uk

If your parent/carer signs up for a support account, they can track the support ticket and see any updates.


Most things we can fix this way.

We can even wipe your laptop and rebuild it without needing to have to back in school!

But if we need to we will ask you to return the laptop to be fixed.


Apps

If you are having trouble with any of the apps, or some apps are missing; try visiting the Company Portal app in the Start Menu.

This portal allows you to install or reinstall apps on your laptop.


Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your password, ask your form tutor to reset it for you.

You cannot reset it, or choose you own, from home. This needs to be done on a school PC.

If you are working from home, your form tutor will give you a temporary password, which you can change the next time you are in school.
